With a great selection of designs to choose from you are guaranteed to find something you love straight away! Choose from our 8 stock designs and personalise with the size, colour & wording of your choice. All invitations will be digitally printed on smooth 300gsm card stock in white and fully assembled within our standard production time of two to three weeks.
3 . ‘Ready to Print’ Designs – This option encompasses our fully customised design service but gives you the opportunity to print, cut and assemble your own stationery. For a flat fee, we can design up to 5 matching pieces for the occasion. Options can include your Invitation, RSVP, Wishing Well Card, Gift Registry Card, Menu Card, Place Card, Table Number Card or Thank You Cards. After the consultation and design process you will be provided with multiple printable PDF files.
Whichever option you choose, here at Passionate About Paper we believe in the personal approach. Everyone is different and therefore each customer is treated like an individual, no assumptions are made and fantastic communication is guaranteed throughout the whole design process:
The process begins with a complimentary consultation. During this initial meeting we will discuss the details of your wedding, your style and what you are hoping to portray through the invitations and stationery. I encourage you to share any pictures, ideas and colour swatches that you may have collected. You will have the opportunity to view samples of my work, choose colours, discuss ideas and establish a style that best suits your needs. If you are unable to meet in person, we can communicate by phone or email.
Estimate & deposit
After the consultation, I will develop a detailed pricing estimate. You can expect to receive this in about 5 – 7 days after the consultation. If you decide to proceed, a contract and timeline will be created. The contract must be signed and returned with a non-refundable 20% deposit. Upon receipt of your contract and deposit you are booked for the design and execution of your order. Please note that I do not design anything before a deposit is received.
Wedding invitation design generally begins 2 – 4 months in advance of when you need to receive the invitations. When you request timing for order completion, keep in mind that wedding invitations are typically sent 8 weeks prior to the event. After receiving your deposit I will provide you with design concepts in a digital PDF format. All proofs are done through email unless other arrangements are made. The invitation design will come first so that an overall look is established. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback and make changes until you are satisfied. Depending on your wedding date and project timeline, the process may slow at this point.
Design for wedding day items such as programs, place cards, table number, etc. will generally take place in the months and weeks leading up to your wedding after we have established your final invitation design. All other invitations, announcements and stationery are generally designed and created within a month or two of when you would like to receive them.
Approval & production
A final proof will be provided for your approval. It is your responsibility to review that every detail is correct, including spelling, grammar and punctuation. After your final approval is received final payment is due. Once the balance has been settled, materials are ordered and the project goes into production. At this time no further changes can be made and quantities cannot be decreased.
When the project is finished, I will contact you to schedule a pick up time or make arrangements for shipping your order.
